The aim of this study is to analyse the digital conflict between K-netz and the ASEAN (SEAblings) community on X (Twitter), and to examine the positive and negative impacts resulting from the conflict sparked by the DAY6 concert incident in Kuala Lumpur, which led to K-netz's racist attacks on the Southeast Asian community. SEAblings responded with humour, memes, criticism and a boycott as a form of digital solidarity. The results therefore emphasise the role of social media in exacerbating crossborder conflicts, as well as the importance of multicultural awareness and digital communication ethics. This study employed a qualitative approach with a netnography. Data obtained through the analysis of posts and comments by netizens regarding the SEAblings vs. K-netz conflict on social media such as X, TikTok, and Instagram was examined in more depth by applying narrative themes: stereotyping, discrimination, and solidarity, in order to obtain valid and accurate data. This study confirms that in the digital era, identity-based conflicts are no longer confined to physical spaces, but can directly impact public perception, international relations, and the sustainability of a country's soft power. Multicultural awareness and digital communication ethics are urgent issues that cannot be ignored, especially in the context of the increasingly strategic relationship between South Korea and ASEAN.
